Yes, I have decided to host a giveaway of my own ! And I am planing more than one, though most likely not back to back .. though that could happen. But currently they will happen every now and then .
But first, Here's why I chose today to launch my first giveaway...
I noticed on St. Patrick's Day that my beans had started to sprout.
Look how tall the beans are today (6 days later)
I found new growth on my poinsettia.
( the white arrow thingies point to some of the spots)
These sunny little jonquils which started blooming Saturday always make me smile.
I thought I had missed all the crocus in bloom, but to day I found that some apparently waited till I could come out to play . I was blessed to find them today.
I am feeling so good, I even left
lots of piles for my hubby to clean up .
OH YEAAA!
Now that's the stuff!
Yes, as a diabetic I should use gloves to clean the garden beds, but I just can't resist the feeling of good healthy soil on my hands and under may nails on the first garden clean up.
It's like holding hands with life for me . No other way to say it .
Even when I am at the weakest this ol' body has ever been,
today,
with dirty hands, wind whipped hair flying all about,
and rosy cheeks that shine like apples,
I feel stronger than I have ever been!
I feel so rich and blessed.
I want to throw open my arms and let loos my heart before it busts with all this jubilation inside
and I want to share.
That's why I chose today to host my first giveaway.
so here I begin
with
Amethyst , I love amethyst!
So into the box I reached ....
and
Photo1
pulled out the first 5 I touched
( with clean dry hands , I Promise!)
Then I decided that wasn't enough.
So,
Photo2
So I reached in and pulled out 4 chunks more.
Photo3
To round them all up
a sweet grass braid
over 25 inches in length
and 2009 harvest
So
one lucky winner,
chosen by random generator (
this one)
at noon on March 31st
will receive 9 chunks of amethyst in various sizes (the chunks of amethyst in the photo marked 1,2, and 3 are the amethyst chunks you will get) and the sweet grass braid shown as well.
